What do you do for work?
I’m a wealth advisor working with high-net-worth individuals and families, helping them navigate far more than just an investment portfolio. It’s really about building deep, personal connections that makes my job rewarding.
for play?
When I can find some free time between work and chasing after my two young boys, I personally enjoy being active going for long walks and to Pilates class.
Women can sometimes find it hard to say “No.” As a trusted advisor, how do you handle saying “no” whilst keeping the relationship strong?
While I tend to go above and beyond for my clients—often helping in ways that extend past what a regular advisor would do—when it comes to an ethical issue, that’s pretty easy as long as you stay true to your values. There are ways to respectfully say no.
What advice do you have for women in business when it comes to building authentic connections?
I think you should always approach connections from the perspective of “How can I help them?” versus “How can this person help me?” There’s a level of ingenuity that people pick up on and honestly just being myself has always helped me. I enjoy spending time getting to know people and you naturally gravitate towards some people more than others.
REALM is about being “Empowered, Beautiful, Bold.” How do you embody these values in your personal and work life?
Not being afraid to be different or feeling the need to conform to fit into a certain persona. I never try to change my style to fit into a certain mold but instead walk confidently into any situation, both in my work and personal life.
We love your style! At REALM, we talk about our jewelry and Empresses having a “Classic, Romantic or Rock Star” vibe (sometimes all three). How would you describe your personal style?
That is one thing I love about REALM! I can totally relate to having a mix of styles. I’d describe my personal style as both classic and simple, effortlessly chic while still being unique.

My favorite REALM collection is SCEPTRE. I love how you can use these pieces to elevate a simple look and the collection resonates with my style—a mix of chic and edgy!

How did you and Ann meet? What kind of connections did you have then? Now?
Ann and I met briefly at a speed networking event. I believe we spoke for about 10 minutes. Something about her just seemed special and genuine, so I then invited her to an event my firm was hosting for women business owners. Ann graced us with her presence, and I’ve very much enjoyed getting to know her.
