This power duo behind the all-women Miss Mortgage team is redefining the home financing space with empathy and intelligence, femininity and flair.
Jennifer Ashley and Madison Callahan are often called the dynamic duo—the “hot girls” of the financial world. But what truly sets them apart is their purpose. Their fresh, outside-the-box approach intentionally fills a long-overlooked gap in homeownership: women. Through their voices, they educate, empower and embolden women to make informed decisions and step confidently toward financial independence.
Their commitment to uplift women deeply resonates with me. Through our shared passion, purpose and creativity, we are aligned in the same mission: to encourage women to own their power, feel supported and move through every aspect of life with confidence and clarity.
I have so enjoyed getting to know them both. Jennifer and Madison are down to earth, creative spirits who have brought light and laughter into to my world. I adore them and I am excited to introduce them to you.

Q+A with Jennifer Ashley and Madison Callahan
What do you do for work?
We head the Miss Mortgage Team, a group of women within Movement Mortgage that's redefining what lending looks like.
As an all-female mortgage team, we use our emotional intelligence, empathy and understanding as our superpower. Working with a female loan officer during the homebuying process offers a different experience. You have our decades of expertise that makes us the best—but wow, you also have a bestie who you can talk to that makes all the difference.
Our goal: to make home ownership feel as fabulous as you are.

We love exploring new restaurants and checking out the latest spots around town; good food and great vibes are always a win. We enjoy traveling whenever we can, whether it’s a quick weekend getaway or a longer adventure somewhere new. Most of all, we value quality time with friends, from casual hangouts and dinners to celebrating milestones together. Trying new experiences, making memories and enjoying life with the people we love is what we’re all about.

We give back by actively working with the city as approved lenders for the Turn the Key program. Turn the Key is a city-supported initiative designed to make home ownership more accessible for first-time and qualifying buyers by offering financial assistance toward down payment and closing costs. The program helps bridge the affordability gap, allowing buyers who may have steady income but limited savings to buy a home.
What makes your team unique in the mortgage industry?
Jennifer: After many years in the business, I decided to radically change my approach from the norms, stop chasing every deal and start choosing alignment. In a traditionally male-dominated and buttoned-up industry, I wanted my personality up front and knew my voice would attract the right people: women buyers! I decided to speak directly to them, regardless of what anyone said, and that shift changed everything.
Madison: As a team, we continue following these tenets every day. We intentionally cater towards women. We embrace our femininity as a strength. We offer our clients a truly personalized approach and ensure everyone involved feels supported, informed and confident throughout the entire process.
Jennifer: Through our social accounts, we bring our feminine, fun flair to the staid and often overcomplicated world of finance and home ownership. As we like to say: "Hot girls know that budgeting, saving and stacking that 401(k) might not be glamorous… but it works. Because cute looks fade, but financial glow-ups last forever."

What do you love about working with each other?
We complement each other. Our strengths and ability to communicate openly means there is a lot of trust between us and that makes collaboration easy. We share the same values when it comes to integrity, work ethic and how people should be treated. That strong partnership translates directly into better service and a more thoughtful, client-first experience.
On a personal level, we genuinely enjoy spending time together. We support each other, keep things positive and we have a lot of fun along the way!
We love your style! At REALM, we talk about our jewelry having a Classic, Romantic or Rock Star vibe (sometimes all three). How would you describe your personal style?
Approachable, polished, and confident. We like to strike a balance between professionalism and warmth, making people feel comfortable while still presenting ourselves with credibility and expertise.
Why do you love REALM?

How did you and Ann meet? What kind of connection did you have then? Now?
We met Ann through Lara Ertwine, another Real Woman of REALM, and from the very beginning, there was an instant connection. Even at that first meeting, it was clear we shared similar values, ambitions and a desire to surround ourselves with like-minded, empowering women. The energy was natural, supportive and inspiring, like meeting someone who just “gets it.” Now, that connection has only grown stronger. We collaborate, motivate and challenge each other while celebrating successes together. What started as a shared spark of inspiration has turned into a genuine, trusting partnership and friendship that continues to flourish.
